Monique Turner

Monique joins Active with a vast experience in managing residential buildings, property management and social housing tenants. She has great building management qualities some of which are handling situations with a positive attitude and problem solving skills. 

“Looking back, it’s as if I was born to work in property. My mum was a Property Manager for 10 years, so by age 12 I was helping her complete property chattels, carry out inspections, take water readings and so on. A few years later I was working in the office assisting the PM’s with administration after school. I never expected that I’d end up working in property myself, but after moving to London in 2018 I was offered a position with Notting Hill Housing as a Property Manager and thought I’d give it a go. The role involved managing mixed tenure buildings, with both leasehold and shared owners as well as social housing tenants. 10 years into my working life, I’d finally found my calling. Moving back to NZ , I joined Active, and can genuinely say I love my job. No day is ever the same: from building compliance to dealing with antisocial behaviour, I work with my Body Corporates to achieve the best results possible for their buildings.“
