Neil Hemraj

Working in the hotel industry has been a true passion of Neil Hemraj. 

He arrived in New Zealand in 2008 from South Africa. He began his hospitality journey at The Heritage / City Life Hotel Group. Then moved to open the SO/ Hotel (award-winning first in the Southern Hemisphere).  He was a part of the opening team at The Hotel Britomart (New Zealand’s first 5 Green star award-winning hotel). Neil’s journey led him to The Pacifica, our vertical community and Asia-Pacific award-winning property and the tallest liveable structure in New Zealand. 

“I began my role as the Concierge Supervisor and hard work pays off as I am now the Operations Manager at The Pacifica. In my Journey there are various achievements that I am proud of which includes awards such as: Best luxury Receptionist & Front office Services Award NZ. My passions are customer service, and my values stem from my upbringing in South Africa. Being fair, considerate, and patient to team members. Giving people a chance to be their best selves and helping people grow is something I hold dear to me.

My interests run far and wide from horror movies to maintaining a sense of fashion and not to mention my hair which tends to run different shades of pink, lavender or blue.”
